Office Closure

On Tuesday 30 September 2025 we will be conducting our annual employee away day and our office and phone lines will be closed all day. Employees will be unavailable for meetings, telephone and email enquiries during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our Employee Away Day brings the whole authority together to develop, improve and inform management on issues identified and ultimately on areas where we can make improvements which will help to ensure that we continue to enhance the level of service you receive from us.
Please note our office will re-open for business-as-usual Wednesday 1 October 2025.
During this time you can still use our website to access your
mypension
online account and have instant access to your pension account. Active and deferred members have the facility to run retirement quotes online while our pensioner members can view their monthly pension payments.
You can also email us at customerservices@sypa.org.uk and we will respond on our return to the office.

This session is for deferred members who are no longer paying into their LGPS pension but are 55+ and looking to claim their benefits with us.

This session is for our active members who are currently paying into their LGPS pension with us who want to know more about how to use their online account.

Follow our 5 easy steps below to get started:
- You will need to either click the link for the event on the email we have previously sent inviting you to the session, and you will get a log in / sign up pop up or click here: https://vimeo.com/ and use the grey ‘join’ button in the top right of the screen.
- From here you can register by entering your name, email address and then you will set a password which must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one number and one symbol. For example: password9!
- It will then log you in, if you accessed through the link for the session, you will be ready to go on the right screen.
- If not, you will need to find that link on your emails and then you may need to log in again using your new Vimeo account details.
- You will then see the screen that will show the presentation. If that chat box isn’t already open, click on the ‘chat’ icon on the right hand side of the screen to open up the chat box to ask any questions you may have during the presentation.
