Members who have been awarded Tier 3 when their ill health application was assessed have been award a reviewable benefit payable for a maximum of 3 years but MUST be reviewed at 18 months by the employer and the original IRMP. The member can also request that their case is reviewed at the end of 3 years to see if they would qualify for an uplift.
You need to send the medical consent form to the member to complete. Once this and the subject access request have been returned you need to complete the continued Eligibility Assessment form and send all information to your panel doctor to complete. You should also include the original Task Analysis. If your panel doctor forwards the information on to the IRMP on your behalf you will need to include the original part 2 and the IRMP invoice form.
